I was asked to illustrate a children's book and represent the relationship of between a little girl and her mother. 

Everything about her strong imagination is related to the love she feels from her mother. To give a naive and playful mood to the story, I decided to use different materials and textures associated with a child's environment. 
 For some illustrations in the book, I've purposely created elements that look like they are under construction, transparent or not totally finished, to represent the little girl's imagination being built, in addition to her simplicity as a child.
