Inês da Fonseca

Inês da Fonseca was born in the beautiful city of Lisbon,

Portugal. She is passionate about expressing emotions through

illustration and writing. Her creative practice focuses on producing

colourful children’s illustrations which are often themed around

love and spirituality.

She has a post-graduate degree in design from IADE Creative

University. After her studies, she began her career as an art

director in Lisbon. Inês further enriched herself and her work

by moving to London, where she resided for a long period. She has worked in advertising agencies for eight years, including Ogilvy Lisbon and McCann WorldGroup London.

"My background always pushes me to look for a perfect

combination between illustration, design and art direction." She

has published fifteen children's books (two of them as an author) and featured in exhibits such as the "Childhood Memories" exhibition in Gabriel Fine Arts in London, United Kingdom, and Merc'art Lisbon in the 2016 and 2019 editions.
